About Me
- "A journey is a person in itself, no two are alike, and all plans, safeguards, policies and concerns are fruitless. We find after years of struggles, that we do not take a trip, a trip takes us."
- -John Steinbeck
For the better part of a decade I have made capturing images my work. I began my photographic journey through portraits and slowly moved into capturing the beloved moments of weddings and children. Of course there were the early years of assisting and learning with other professionals and the continued development through education and workshops. It is a craft that is rapidly changing and with it my personal and professional perspective also changes. I am in a continued and constant pursuit of developing my photographic voice.
It is a true gift to be able to, not only see the world, but be able to see the world through the eyes of another. For over half a decade I have had the privilege to embark on journeys around the world in the capacity of both work and pleasure. Passing through over 30 countries and across 6 continents, there has not been a place or person that hasn't touched and inspired me. It is here on this site I would like to share a collection of memories and moments that will bring these journeys and the sense of the world closer to where ever home is to you. In the end, I hope my images inspire one to open the mind to the idea of letting the world capture the imagination. At the very most , I can hope that the images inspire one to go out into the world and begin to change themselves in it. It is through our own changes we become inspired to do great change within the world.
- "We travel initially to lose ourselves; and we travel next to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe where riches are differently dispersed. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again-to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more."
